Following the testing carried out in Scotland at the end of 2021, additional research has been undertaken and this has led to the production of 2 further scale units to test, currently these units are undergoing bench testing and subject to those tests being satisfactorily concluded a further programme of wave tank tests will be carried out this year to confirm the data. Currently we are very encouraged by a strikingly low predicted cost of manufacture, this when coupled to remarkable survivability characteristics demonstrate that elastomeric designs, such as Anaconda, have a significant advantage in the race to develop cost effective Wave Energy Convertors.
